Not Responding (Vista/Nvidia?)
Ok, so I start playing GW and then after about 45+min GW freezes and makes the game unplayable. I open the task manager and it says GW is not responding. This has happened on two computers so far:
Desktop (custom)
Vista Home Premium
intel core 2 duo @2.66
Sli-Nvidia 8800gts
4gb RAM
Notebook (Lenovo T61p)
Vista Home Premium
intel core 2 duo T9300 @2.5
Nvidia Quadro FX 570M
3GB RAM
I can restart my computer and then it'll work for another 30min, but that just gets annoying

It might be the Dual Core, since GW isn't optimized for dual/quad cores CPUs.
I never had problems with my Quad Core, but most of that kind of problems are linked to dual/quad cores.
You should uncheck the affinity (SP?) of one core from the GW process in Task Manager.

Yeah it sucks, some of my other older games rarely do the same thing, sometimes they just crash right on startup.
I think that's odd though that you are getting this problem so frequently with Guild Wars, I had it more on XP than Vista.

If you're sure that there is no faulty hardware in either setup, this is most likely a driver problem. If you have the most recent drivers for all of your hardware, then it's probably a compatibility bug which you can't do anything about until it's fixed by the hardware companies and Microsoft. If you have alot of extra time on your hands you could get the log files from your compter and complete details of your system. Then, send submit bug reports to MS, Arenanet, Nvidia, and Intel with all your information included.

Ok, well yesterday I had this weird discovery. When it froze up I turned down the settings to low (took about 10min) and my fps was constantly at 30, as if something was limiting the computer's performance.
